PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch antenna which is attached to a wall surface or the like, where a gain in the direction of side face is increased. SOLUTION: In the patch antenna provided with a planar patch antenna 2 and a ground plate 1, two non-feeding elements are located in the front on both the sides of the planar patch antenna. Two non-feeding elements play the role of a filter and can attain improvement in gain, in the direction of the side face.
