PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized long life ozonizer having improved generation efficiency by using a pair of high voltage electrodes or one high voltage electrode. SOLUTION: This ozonizer includes an electric circuit part 200 for generating high voltage pulse and a discharge chamber 300 for inducing electric discharge corresponding to high voltage pulse and the discharge chamber 300 has a high voltage electrode plate 310, an insulating plate 320, an injecting port 340 for injecting air to the discharge chamber 300 and an exhaust port 350 for discharging the generated ozone from the discharge chamber 300 to the outside. A plate like oxide insulator 370 is stuck on the wall 330 of the discharge chamber 300.
