PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processor and an automatic ticket examination device, which can shorten processing time required for discharging all tickets at the time of processing a plurality of ticket mediums. SOLUTION: An automatic ticket examination device 2 contains at least two paths 44 formed so that ticket mediums 1 can pass through one by one, ticket stop mechanism 45 which are provided in the respective paths and temporarily stop the ticket mediums passing through the corresponding paths and a discharge path merging the ticket mediums passing through the respective paths with a transportation path 52. CPU being a control means drives the ticket stop mechanism installed in the path to which the ticket medium is introduced, and transports the medium to a writing head 46 when the ticket medium introduced to the arbitrary path of a holding means 42 is that which requires printing. During the recording, while a recording means records prescribed information into the ticket medium of a first group, the ticket medium introduced to the remaining path is preferentially transported to a second holding part 60. |
