PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger capable of preventing a charging failure. SOLUTION: In a charging method, during charging, a one-chip microcomputer 230 executes sampling of the terminal voltage of a DC plug (S750) to determine whether the voltage has dropped to less than 100 mV (S770). If has dropped, a transistor 225 is turned off to suspend a feeding of charging current (S790). It is determined whether an anomaly has occurred due to an overflow resulting from exceeding of an error count value to a fixed value (S810). If the error count value is less than the fixed value and the anomaly has not occurred, it is determined that full charging has completed and a LED 213 is turned off (S870). On the other hand, if the overflow has occurred due to exceeding to the fixed value, the LED 215 is turned on to indicate the occurrence of the anomaly (S830), so that it is determined whether anomalies are occurred sequentially (S840). If occurred sequentially, additional charging is suspended (S870). If the first anomaly is occurred, the feeding of charging current is restarted (S850). |
