PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ink absorption and the tear properties in an ink jet ink image receiving sheet for OHP. SOLUTION: The ink image receiving sheet is obtained by forming an ink image receiving layer on at least one of the faces of a base sheet constituted of a stretched styrene resin sheet. The stretched styrene resin sheet can be torn. The ink image receiving layer contains at least a hydrophilic polymer and further may contain a particlelike lubricant.
