PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the workload and errors of an operator who produces a catalog. SOLUTION: A server 10 and a terminal 20 are connected through a network NW so as to perform transmission and reception. The server 10 is provided with a database D storing commodity alphabetic data, a database E storing the commodity image data, and a database G storing printing positional information of prescribed commodity information. In the terminal 20, application software realizes a retrieval means which retrieves the database D to read the commodity alphabetic data about a desired commodity, a frame layout designation means which stores printing positional information assigned to a page and a position in the page to insert commodity information which linked the commodity image data stored in the database E as necessary to the commodity alphabetic data in the database G, and an output means Q to read the stored printing positional information and to output it as data for a catalog. |
