PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniature tuning fork type inflective quartz oscillator having a small equivalent series resistance R1. SOLUTION: Grooves are made in the upper and lower surfaces in the center of a tuning fork arm while holding the neutral line thereof between and electrodes are provided in the grooves and the side face thus constituting a tuning fork type bending crystal unit. Since grooves are provided while holding the neutral line of the tuning fork arm between, an electric field acts vertically. Consequently, electromechanical conversion efficiency is improved and a tuning fork type inflective quartz oscillator having a small equivalent series resistance R1 is obtained. At the same time, Q-value is increased. |
