PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press contact type connector for a portable telephone and its connection structure capable of realizing low-load connection by shortening a conduction path by reducing the height of the connector without obliquely setting the connector. SOLUTION: This connector is provided with a housing 20 integrated with a light guide 10 for mounting a liquid crystal module of the portable telephone, hollow conductive toe pins 28 respectively inserted into plural through holes 23 of the housing 20 and slidably exposed from the back face of the housing 20, and conductive head pins 30 fitted into the respective toe pins 28 to slidably project from the surface of the housing 20. A coil spring 32 is interlaid between each toe pin 28 and head pin 30, and the respective toe pins 28 and head pins 30 are projected from both surfaces of the housing 20 by elastically pressing and energizing them.
