PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement system capable of automatically grasping the number of devices and the identification numbers of the devices after expansion or reduction. SOLUTION: Measurement/controllers 1-1 to 6 have a device number with which the measurement/controllers themselves can be identified. This measurement system is provided with a data processor 2 for sequentially transmitting a measurement instruction by using the device number and grasping the increase/decrease of measuring instruments 1 on the basis of the existence/absence of a response to the measurement instruction.
