<p>A pesticide which includes an extract from white Cypress pine (Callitris columellaris F. Muell.). The pesticide is prepared by extracting the Cypress pine with a solvent selected from an alkane, an alkoxyalkane or an alkylester. The solvent is then removed. Preferred solvents are n-hexane, diethylether and ethylacetate. The extracts can act as termiticides and are particularly effective against the subterranean termite C. acinaciformis.</p> |
