INSTRUMENT SET AND SYSTEM FOR EXFOLIATING SUBMUCOUS LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a procedure easily in a short time and to carry out a procedure safely irrespective of the skill of an operator when excising an affected area of the alimentary tract.

SOLUTION: An instrument set for exfoliating the submucous layer is provided for exfoliating the submucous layer locally in order to excise an affected area of the alimentary tract. The instrument set comprises: a flexible insertion section 10; a conduit extending from the proximal end side to the distal end side of the insertion section 10; a wire 12 inserted into the conduit while its distal end side is fixed; an operation section 13 fixed on the proximal end side of the wire 12 for pushing and pulling the wire 12 with respect to the insertion section 10 and for bending the insertion section 10 in a predetermined direction; an assisting device 7 for perforating an insertion route of a predetermined size in the submucous layer; and a submucous layer exfoliating instrument inserted into the submucous layer along the insertion route perforated by the assisting device so as to exfoliate the submucous layer.
