The equal-piece locking device (40) has multiple engaging claws, which are formed to project in an interdental space of a gear wheel (21) and to withdraw itself from this space. The gear wheel is provided in rest position in operating connection with a sliding piece of a pressing machine (1). The multiple engaging claws are formed such that they are able to introduce themselves and withdraw independently. One of the multiple interference claws is arrived in engagement between teeth of the gear wheel inside an area, within which the gear wheel is adjusted by an extent according to a tooth. An independent claim is also included for a pressing machine comprising a locking device.
