A method for controlling the Colorado beetle at potato plantations includes treatment of the potato plantations with preparations. A new mixture with reduced rates of the biological preparation "Actophyte", 0.2% e.c. (an emulsion concentrate) 200 ml/ha and the chemical "Confidor", 20% w.s.c. (a water-soluble concentrate) 100 ml/ha is used.
