A circuit for setting gamma resistor and display device having the same is provided to allow a user to set gamma resistance suitable for difference of processes and a device used for driving circuit, so improving the reliability of the device. In a circuit for setting gamma resistor and display device, a timing control unit(210) controls overall operation of the driving circuit(200) according to an external control signal(200c). The gamma resistance string circuit(240) produces a plurality of gamma voltages(VG) by using the analog supply voltage(AVDD). A source driving circuit(250) converts the outside digital video data(200d) into the analog data voltage. The source driving circuit outputs data voltage(D1-Dm) corresponding to the m source wirings. The gamma resistance setting circuit(260) produces the gamma error rate, and the gamma resistance setting circuit produces the gamma error rate, and the register stores a set value according to control of the gamma resistance setting circuit.
