The rotor has magnets (31, 32) divided in groups (41, 42) with a group number, which corresponds to number of poles, where the number of poles of the rotor is altered or fixed as an even number. The magnets associated with one of the groups are aligned in an equivalent magnetic adjustment, and the groups are provided in respective magnetic adjustments. A group number of the group (41) resembles a group number of the group (42), and the groups exhibiting different magnetic adjustments are arranged neighboring to each other in magnet pockets (2). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a rotor of an electric motor.
