The invention relates to metallurgy and concerns the application of vacuum ion-plasma coatings, in particular on inside cylindrical surface. Articles is installed on position of worktable of vacuum chamber so that longitudinal axis inside cylindrical surface is placed under angle to the direction of plasma stream of coating material and determined from expression, which is supply perpendicularly to working surface of table. The uniform rotary movement of table and articles around of longitudinal inclined axis of inside cylindrical surface are carried out and plasma stream is directed. If necessary the articles are subjected to precession oscillations. Technical result: improvement of coating quality.
