A method for correcting the defect of the alveolar process of the maxilla provides for the dissection of the fissure edges, the separation of the mucous-periosteal flaps, the closure of the bone defect. The mucous-periosteal flaps are generated, transposed and sutured with catgut providing the internal and upper parts of the bone bed. The dissection in the larger fragment is continued along the transitional fold with the maximal involvement of the cicatricial tissues generated after the primary cheiloplasty. The mucous-periosteal flap is separated, the cicatricial tissues of the superior oral vestibule is separated and mobilized. The dissection in the lesser fragment is continued up to the base of the deficiency of the wing of the nose. The flap is separated and the clots of BoTP are placed onto the generated bed. Osteoplast collagen membrane is placed onto the skeletized edges of the defect providing for overlapping the defect by at least on each side. The mucous-periosteal flaps on the vestibular surface of the alveolar process are mobilized, transposed to the middle of the defect and sutured with catgut generating the external surface of the bone bed. The edges of the wound are leveled and sutured with catgut. |
