Provided in the present invention are uses of an Eisenia bicyclis extract for preventing, treating, or alleviating Alzheimer′s disease. According to the present invention, the Eisenia bicyclis extract specifically inhibits the activities of beta-secretase, β-site amyloid precursor protein cleaving enzyme (BACE), which is one enzyme involved in a process of producing beta-amyloid peptide considered as a cause of Alzheimer′s disease, thereby being efficiently used as an active ingredient for preventing, treating, or alleviating Alzheimer′s disease. |
