An ink jet recording head, comprising: a member provided with an ejection orifice for ejecting ink; and a layer comprising a cured product of a condensed product obtained by condensation of a hydrolyzable silane compound having an epoxy group and a hydrolyzable silane compound having a perfluoropolyether group on a side of the member on which the ejection orifice opens, wherein the member is a cured product of a cationically photopolymerizable material containing an epoxy resin having an epoxy group, and wherein a bond is formed between the layer and the member wherein the hydrolyzable silane compound having the a-perfluoropolyether group comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the following formulae (2), (3), (4), and (5): F—Rp-A-SiXaY3-a  (2)R3-aXaSi-A-Rp-A-SiXaY3-a  (3)F—Rp-QA-SiXaY3-an}  (5) wherein, in the formulae (2), (3), (4), and (5), Rp represents a perfluoropolyether group, ‘A’ represents an organic group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, X represents a hydrolyzable substituent, Y represents a non-hydrolyzable substituent, Z represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R represents a non-hydrolyzable substituent, Q represents a divalent bonding group to set n=1 or Q represents a trivalent bonding group to set n=2, ‘a’ represents an integer of 1 to 3, and m represents an integer of 1 to 4.
