Extraction efficiency is improved by using ground roast coffee having an average particle size in the range of from 300 to 800 μm. Flavor retention is improved by using a filter medium made of a synthetic polymer. The capsule can be used in a process in which optimum extraction is obtained during relatively short brew times. |
