PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that suppresses dust or dirt from being adhered to an optical processing unit upon which light from a light source is incident, and can suppress each member of the optical processing unit from being put into an overheated state.SOLUTION: A projector has: an optical processing unit that includes a prism 8, and display devices 7R, 7G and 7B; and a dust-proof case 10 that partially covers the optical processing unit. Heat sinks 12R, 12G and 12B are connected to the display devices 7R, 7G and 7B. The display devices 7R, 7G and 7B are located inside the dust-proof case 10, and the heat sinks 12R, 12G and 12B are located outside the dust-proof case 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
