PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof cover for a vehicle which is mounted on a vehicle interior of a vehicle such as an automobile, is light, and exerts sound insulation effect and sound absorption effect.SOLUTION: An under cover 40 (a sound insulation cover for a vehicle) is formed as a fiber molded body, which is formed by heating a fiber structure 31 (a base material layer) with first thermoplastic synthetic fibers 311 and second thermoplastic synthetic fibers 312 mixed; a ventilation blocking layer 34 which is laminated on a surface on a vehicle interior side with respect to the fiber structure 31 through a first adhesive layer 32a and blocks ventilation; and a skin 33 (a skin layer) which is laminated on a surface on the vehicle interior side with respect to the ventilation blocking layer 34 through a second adhesive layer 32b so that surface parts of the respective layers are thermally fused and joined; and molding the above in a predetermined shape by compression molding. The fiber structure 31 is formed by mixing the first thermoplastic synthetic fibers 311 having a melting point by which it does not melt in a heating process during molding and the second thermoplastic synthetic fibers 312 having a melting point by which it melts in the heating process during the molding. |
