1. A method of cleaning a surface of unwanted matter comprising the following steps:
providing a liquid cleaning composition having a prevulcanized natural rubber latex, at least one detergent additive and a basic composition selected from the group consisting of aqueous ammonia, NaOH, KOH, and mixture of tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate, NaOH, and trisodium nitriloacetate to provide a pH of the cleaning composition of at least 8; applying the liquid cleaning composition to the surface over the unwanted matter, allowing the cleaning composition to form an elastic rubber membrane, drying the membrane, and removing the dry elastic rubber membrane from the surface with the unwanted matter attached to the membrane. |
