Tank is divided into inner (receiving) chamber and outer (outlet) chamber by filter consisting of felt made from plastic, (pref. polypropylene), fibre or glass fibre. Felt pref. has reinforcing mesh within it. Pref. min. thickness is 2 mm. and pore size is approx. 0.05 mm. Filter may be bowl-shaped, and have supporting cage. |
