PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect whether a test point in digital display of an image exists inside or outside of a closed curve determined by a series of sequential points on a curve in the display of the image. SOLUTION: A process (310) to detect an angle to be formed to the test point by a pair of mutually adjacent points among a series of the sequential points on the curve, a process (320) to sum up angles detected for all pairs of the mutually adjacent points among a series of the sequential points on the curve and a process (340) to detect whether the summed angle is 360 deg. and equal to multiples of integers other than zero or not and to indicate whether the test point exists in the closed curve or not are included in this image processing method. |
