PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant having high-temperature fuel cells, capable of acquiring the amount of water necessary for a plant and supplying water for reforming so as to benefit all the processes. SOLUTION: This plant 1 has high-temperature fuel cells 20 forming a planner and point-symmetrical stack 2. A supply point 5 is provided for gaseous fuel or liquid fuel 50. In a reformer connected to the supply point, at least part of the fuel is converted catalytically into carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the existence of water with process heat supplied. An after-burner chamber 6 is connected to the output side of the fuel cells 20. A return line 61 is disposed between the supply point and the chamber 6, and exhaust gases 60', 70' are returned to the supply point via the return line. When fuel is not gaseous, the supply point is constituted of a means, for example, an atomizer which is capable of supplying liquid fuel. |
