SUBSTANCE: compacting cylinder has inner conical surface narrowing to outlet end of compacting cylinder and provided with longitudinal slots. Lubricating liquid is supplied from hydraulic system to longitudinal slots under pressure equal to pressure imparted to cylinder walls by material under compaction process.
