PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control both of pitch of a reproducing waveform and a waveform reproducing rate by an easy composition in the waveform reproducing device which reads waveform data stored and reproduces the waveform. SOLUTION: This waveform reproducing device is provided with a storage means to store a waveform data representing a waveform of sound and section information representing plural sections in which the waveform data are timewise split, a pitch information acquisition means to acquire pitch information directing the pitch of a reproducing waveform, a speed information acquisition means to acquire reproducing speed information for indicating a waveform reproducing speed independently of a waveform reproducing speed to obtain a reproducing waveform of pitch corresponding to pitch information, and waveform reading means to read the waveform data stored in a storage means at a waveform reproducing speed corresponding to the pitch information acquired by the pitch information acquisition means, while adjusting an average progress rate of waveform data read address stored in the storage means to the waveform reproducing speed represented by reproducing speed information obtained by the speed information acquisition means by setting a repeat reading section for repeatedly reading the waveform data from the sections represented by the above- mentioned section information or a jump section for ignoring to read the waveform data for jumping. |
