PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the output and the energy efficiency of a motor by increasing the efficiency of a piezoelectroc element which is mounted on a stator and on a rotor. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic motor 1 is constituted of an elastic member 30 on a fixed side having a rotationally symmetric shape, an elastic member 40 on the moving side having a rotationally symmetric shape, a piezoelectric element 31 on the fixed side for providing vibration to the elastic member 30, and a piezoelectric element 41 on the moving side for providing vibration to the elastic member 40. The piezoelectric element 31 is driven at a frequency Fs, nearly matching the anti-resonance frequency fns of the piezoelectric element 31 on the fixed side, and the piezoelectric element 41 is driven at a frequency Fr nearly matching the anti-resonance frequency fnr of the piezoelectric element 41 on the moving side. |
