PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily perform warm air operation in starting in a short time by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This fuel reformer is equipped with a reforming chamber 36 arranged in first and second reforming catalyst layers 38 and 40 and a fuel mechanism 44 for starting for directly feeding combustion gas for heating to the first and second reforming catalyst layers 38 and 40. The combustion mechanism 44 is equipped with an injector 48 for feeding the fuel for heating to the combustion chamber 46 and a glow plug 49 for igniting the fuel for heating. |
