In the impact mill, the vertical rotor (2) which is surrounded by a coaxial impact body casing (3) has a distributor plate (6), which is fastened on a drivable hub (5) and has a plurality of guiding walls (8) which emerge from a central feed (7) for the material to be milled and are arranged in a star shape. In order to be able to replace the distributor plate easily and with a low degree of expenditure in terms of work, the hub (5) has radially protruding driver blades (10), the distributor plate (6) bearing on its underside axially protruding coupling blades (9) which are arranged parallel to the driver blades (10) and interact therewith. In this arrangement, congruent, radially directed oblong holes (12) into which U-shaped coupling bars (13) engage are provided in the adjacent driver and coupling blades (9, 10), the legs of the said coupling bars (13) being shorter than the oblong holes (12) and engaging around the blades (9, 10) which are adjacent to one another. <IMAGE>
