PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pound steamed rice into a cake in various pounded states according to a preference and a taste in an automatic rice cake making machine. SOLUTION: One course can be properly selected from plural courses set by the combination of a down time t0 in a stop mode shifting to a pounding mode after a steaming mode and a pounding time t1 in a pounding mode.
