SOLUTION: As to this developing device, a developer stirred by a carrying screw 4 is carried on a developing sleeve 10 by a magnetic pole N3, the developer on the sleeve 10 controlled and remaining by a control blade 30 is stirred by the screw 4 again, and also the developer on the sleeve 10 separates from the sleeve 10 at an area C in which the magnetic flux density of a magnetic filed formed by the magnetic poles 2 and 3 is <=80 Gs in the radial direction of the sleeve 10 and is 80<=Gs in a direction orthogonally crossing the radial direction on the surface of the sleeve 10, the developer falls on the upstream side from the screw 4 in the rotating direction of the sleeve 10, and is stirred with the developer inside the developer container 2 by the screw 4. |
