PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas isolating device capable of easily determining whether sealing properties are allowed to soundly function or not. SOLUTION: This gas isolating device is provided with: a plug 16 used for closing a pipeline and capable of sticking, at the vicinity of an opening end, to entire circumference of the inner surface of the pipeline 2; a plug 17 used for detecting leakage and capable of sticking, at the vicinity of the opening end, to the entire circumference of the inner surface of the pipeline 2; a gas supplying pipe 18 installed on the plug 17 for detecting the leakage; and a pressure gauge 38 and a gas cylinder 35 connected to the gas supplying pipe 18. A gas discharged from the gas cylinder 35 is filled in a space surrounded by the plug 16 used for closing the pipeline and stuck to the inner surface at the vicinity of the opening end of the pipeline 2, the plug 17 used for detecting the leakage and stuck to the inner surface at the vicinity of the opening end of the pipeline 2, and the inner surface of the pipeline 2. Determination is made to see whether the sealing property of the plug 16 used for closing the pipeline and that of the plug 17 used for detecting the leakage are allowed to soundly function or not based on the indicated value on the pressure gauge 38. |
