Fuel injection device

摘要

A directly acting fuel injection device has a chamber directly upstream of the injection nozzle. The inlet of the chamber is controlled by a solenoid-controlled needle valve or ball valve whilst the outlet of the chamber or the injection nozzle is controlled by a mushroom valve. The mushroom valve opens in response to a hydraulic pressure prevailing in the chamber and is moved into the closed position in each case by means of the high pressures generated cyclically in the combustion chamber, in order to prevent gases at high pressure from being able to pass into the injection device and in order to avoid droplets of fuel forming.
