PURPOSE:To obtain small-sized equipment and improve operability by providing solar batteries on keys of the electronic equipment and further providing a discriminating means of discriminating shielding conditions against light to the solar batteries, and using its output as a key input signal. CONSTITUTION:Solar batteries are arranged on mechanical keys and touch keys and only the upper part of a battery 5-2 is made transparent; and an electronic desk-top calculator is constituted, for example, as shown in the figure, by using said keys. For input, the solar batteries 5-2 which corresponds to a key is shielded with a finger from light to cut off 80-90% of incident light, and electromotive force drops greatly. This signal is regarded as a logical value 0 and inputted to an AND gate 5-3, where it is ANDed with a key signal output 10, thereby supplying a key signal input 9 to a control arithmetic circuit. In this case, the electromotive force of the battery 5-2 drops, but the influence of other batteries is not exerted by a diode 5-4. This constitution allows a key top unit circuit 5-1 to serve as a key unit and a power source. |
