<p>An apparatus for de-aerating and/or degassing, more particularly for absorption degassing, of conduit-systems with a liquid circulation, preferably a water circulation, the said apparatus comprising a housing at the upper end of which is arranged a valve with a valve-needle projecting into the said housing, a float having a float-needle being suspended from the said valve-needle and being adapted to move vertically, characterized in that the float is arranged to move freely upon the float-needle in the vertical direction, the said float-needle and, if necessary, the said housing, being of a length such that in the event of an increase in air pressure up to a desired value - a safe distance still remains between the surface of the water and the valve.</p> |
