PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a tank trailer and increase the loading capacity by such amount by providing a single axle for rear wheels of the tank trailer which is displaced to the rear by a predetermined amount, and by having the front part of the trailer to be supported by a tractor with double rear axles. CONSTITUTION:The rear wheels of a tank trailer 5' are made such such that there is a single rear axle 4, which is displaced rearward by a pre-determined amount. The front part of the tank trailer 5' is supported by a tractor 3'. By such an arrangement, weight for wheels and an axle body equivalent to otherwise necessary one more rear axle can be reduced. Such reduction is made use of to increase the loading capacity as well as to increase the load borne by two rear wheel axles 7 of the tractor 3'. Also, the load on the single rear axle 4 of the tank trailer 5' can be reduced by such amount, allowing the one rear axle support system and well balanced wheel loading.
