PURPOSE:To make the easy execution of miniaturization and multiplication possible, by a method wherein the electret in a nozzle is vigorously transferred by applying a voltage according to a printing signal to the electrode of the nozzle and an ink drop is flown from an ink jet port. CONSTITUTION:In the stand-by-state in which a negative voltage is applied to the electrode 32 provided on an ink supply port 31 side from a voltage supply part 33, an electret 34 is attracted to the electrode 32 with electrostatic force and located on the ink supply port 31 side. Then, when the switch 35 in the voltage supply part is operated with a printing signal and the voltage of from negative to positive is applied to the electrode 32, the electret 34 is repelled, vigorously moved onto the ink jet port side and the ink drips are flown. At the same time, the ink supply side becomes of negative pressure and ink is supplied thereto. Then, by slowly applying the voltage from positive to negative, the electret 34 is slowly moved onto the ink supply port 31 side and ink is supplied onto the ink jet port side. |
