PURPOSE:To improve the optical density, resolution, storing performance, etc. of a recording image by laminating an ink transportation layer and an ink holding layer containing a transparent and highly fixable dye onto a substrate thus forming a recording material. CONSTITUTION:An ink holding layer containing a transparent and highly fixable dye is provided onto a substrate then an ink transportation layer is laminated thus forming a recording material. Recording is executed with ink onto the recording face of said recording material. Preferably, 50-0.1wt% of dye is mixed for the holding layer. Preferably, the ink holding layer is non-porous and mainly composed of water soluble or hydrophilic polymer. Preferably, the ink transportation layer is porous and mainly composed of particles which do not dye the recording material and a binding agent. |
