PURPOSE:To form a coil with high mechanical strength and electrical insulating properties by a method wherein winding tensions of an inner side conductor and an outer side conductor are so changed as to be lower in the inner side and higher in the oyter side to carry out winding. CONSTITUTION:Winding operation is carried out by rotating a winding jig 18 to the direction of an arrow 18 by supporting rings 17 driven to rotate while a tension T 20 is applied to a conductor 1 in the jig 16 by a tension apparatus 19. At that time, the tension T 20 is so changed as to be lower in the inner diameter side 11 and higher in the outer diameter side 13. With this constitution, as pressure is induced between layers even after the winding is completed and the jig 16 is removed, peeling-off between the layers can be avoided so that a stable coil with excellent mechanical strength and electrical insulating properties can be obtained. |
