PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for separate operations for discharging waste toner and replacing a developing tank, and to miniaturize a device by forming the titled device with a first process part element consisting of a developing tank containing a remaining toner storing part, and a second process part element containing a photosensitive drum, a cleaning means, etc. CONSTITUTION:An image forming process part is constituted of the first process part element consisting of a developing tank 4 containing a storing part 44 for storing a residual toner which has been eliminated and recovered from on a photosensitive body by a cleaning means, the second process part element which is not provided with the developing tank 4 and a waste toner storing part 44 but contains a photosensitive drum, the cleaning means, and an external discharge means of a remaining toner, etc., and a toner recovering means for carrying the remaining toner discharged by the second process part element, to the developing tank 4 of the first process part element and recovering it. That is to say, the remaining toner removed from the photosensitive body by the cleaning means contained in the second process part element is carried and recovered by the toner recovering means and stored in the storing part of the developing the tank functioning as the first process part element. In such a way, the device does not become large in size. |
