GLASS MOULD AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION

Glass-blowing mould has a mechanically adjusted inner surface for subsequent application of active stable coating, whose profile has an average arithmetic deviation /Ra/ ranging from 0.8 to 25 micrometers, irregularity height from ten points /Rz/ ranging from 12.5 to 100 micrometers and the biggest irregularity height /Rm/ ranging from 12.5 to 100 micrometers. The mechanical processing of the inner surface of the glass furnace is performed by shot blasting using blasting material falling onto the inner surface of the mould at a speed of 30 to 100m x s<-1> from a distance of 50 to 300 mm and within an angle of falling of blasting material at most 60 degrees from the perpendicular line to the shot-blasted surface.
