METHOD OF COLLAGENOUS TUBE PRODUCTION FOR VASCULAR PROSTHESIS

The method consists in pressing of collagen matter on axially movable rotating mandrel, whose axis is identical with longitudinal axis of the spreading nozzle. In position on mandrel it is possible to perform all the subsequent operations as solidification, drying etc. The method is used for tube production, specifically for arterial prosthesis of standard diameter, thickness and surface quality. It is possible to produce in this manner even tubes of small diameter, for example 4 mm, and of greater lengths, for example 1000 mm.<IMAGE>
