PURPOSE:To prevent generation of phase shift between a control valve for rear-wheel steering and a feedback system by installing an electromagnetic clutch on the line for feeding back the motion of rear-wheel steering to said control valve for rear-wheel steering, wherein the electromagnetic clutch is of negative operation type and is operated only in the period while the rear wheels are maintained in the condition out of steering. CONSTITUTION:A rear-wheel steering device 10 includes a rear-wheel steering control mechanism unit 30, which is equipped with a control valve 12 for rear- wheel steering to perform hydraulic circuit changing-over to a rear-wheel side power cylinder at a displacement transmitting mechanism for rear-wheel steering 11. A coupling lever 37 for feeding back the motion of a rear-wheel side ring mechanism, not illustrated, is coupled with a sleeve 37 fitted on a feedback shaft 32, which is coupled with an output shaft 21 through a torsion bar 31 with possibility of relative displacement. Therein an electromagnetic clutch 36 of negative operation type is interposed between the sleeve 37a and feedback shaft 32 and is controlled so as to be operated only while the rear wheels are held out of steering. |
