PURPOSE:To enhance the steering characteristics by installing a mechanism to absorb overstrokes on the line for feeding back the motion of rear-wheel steering to a control valve for rear-wheel steering, wherein the overstrokes are such as to be generated when the motion in feedback system is transmitted to this valve with a certain transmit delay. CONSTITUTION:A rear-wheel steering device 10 includes a rear-wheel steering control mechanism unit 30, which is equipped with a control valve 12 for rear- wheel steering to perform hydraulic circuit changing-over to a rear-wheel side power cylinder at a displacement transmitting mechanism for rear-wheel steering 11. A coupling lever 37 for feeding back the motion of a rear-wheel side ring mechanism, not illustrated, is coupled with a sleeve 37 fitted on a feedback shaft 32, which is coupled with an output shaft 21 through a torsion bar 31 with possibility of relative displacement, and an electromagnetic clutch 36 is interposed between the sleeve 37a and feedback shaft 32. Therein a centering spring mechanism 80 for absorbing overstrokes is installed between the coupling lever 37 and feedback shaft 32. |
