An engageable coupling with a roller freewheel has a pair of rollers (7 and 8) fitted between a ramp-shaped clamping track (6) of an inner component (3) and a smooth cylindrical clamping track (2) of an outer ring (1), whereby the individual rollers (7 and 8) have a compression spring (9) between them which prestresses each roller (7 or 8) towards the end of the ramp-shaped clamping track (2). It is thus possible to transfer a torque between the inner component (3) and the outer ring (1). The coupling can be disengaged because one of the two rollers (7 or 8) can be moved by adjusters (11) against the force of the compression spring (9). The intention is to provide a high torque capacity with a uniform load distribution on the clamping tracks (2 and 6) in such an engageable coupling and to make for compact construction. To this end, there are to be at least three pairs of rollers (7 and 8) evenly spaced around the circumference of the outer ring (1), and the control disc (10) and the inner component (3) are to be carried together in the outer ring (1).
