PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which prevents packing of developer in a developing device, is uncostly, and is excellent in reliability. SOLUTION: The device 1 is equipped with a controller 16 for controlling a developing operation carried out by a developing roll 3, a developer stir part 5, and two scoop-up rolls 6 and 7. In this case, at the start of the developing operation, the controller 16 exerts control so that the developer stir part 5 starts movement with timing that is later than the two scoop-up rolls 6 and 7. |
