<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly perform grease lubrication over a long period by preventing an outflow of grease from a rack pinion meshing part in a steering body. CONSTITUTION:A rack 6 of constituting partly a steering link mechanism is slidably supported in a holding hole 31 formed in a steering body 3, and a rack tooth part 7 is formed over a predetermined range partly in this hole. A pinion tooth part 5 meshed with this rack tooth part 7 is formed in a pinion 4 operated to rotate according to steering operation. A brush seal 33, in which an inserting opening 33a is formed to be matched with a rack tooth part- provided rack sectional shape, is arranged in at least one end side of a meshing part 30 by both these fellow tooth parts.</p> |
