Rubble sorting system - uses tip containers as bunkers to deliver material to table for mechanical sorting

To handle rubber and dumped material (2), it is discharged into tip containers (3) to be transferred by the containers (3) through tipping in dosed charges on to a sorting table (4) to be sorted by mechanical grippers and lifters (7) and cleaned of predetermined materials which are diverted for further processing, evaluation or disposal. There is also an assembly with a tip container discharge bunker to be emptied onto a table (4). The grip and lifting system (7) is carried by a jib (6) to cover the table (4) and transfer material to designated loading points (9-17). USE/ADVANTAGE - The system is for the processing of loose building rubble and dumped material from demolition and rebuilding and the like. The operation handles material of the order of 100000-250000 tons with a high recovery of usable material. The operation creates little dust and noise and occupies little space.
